Atazanavir: Proton Pump Inhibitors may decrease the serum concentration of Atazanavir. |
Management |
Avoid concurrent PPI in HIV treatment-experienced patients. For treatment-naive patients, atazanavir/ritonavir dose should be given approximately 12 hours after the PPI, and the PPI should not exceed the equivalent of 20 mg omeprazole. |
