Phenytoin: Calcium Channel Blockers may increase the serum concentration of Phenytoin. |
Management |
Monitor for phenytoin toxicity with concomitant use of a calcium channel blocker (CCB) or decreased phenytoin effects with CCB discontinuation. Monitor for decreased CCB therapeutic effects. Nimodipine Canadian labeling contraindicates use with phenytoin. |
