Indications
Oral
Gastrointestinal tract spasm
Adult: Up to 120 mg daily.
Warnings / Precautions
Glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, pyloric stenosis.
Adverse Reactions
Headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain and abdominal discomfort.
Mechanism of Actions
Otilonium bromide has spasmolytic action on the smooth muscle of the digestive tract.
Absorption: Very low.
Excretion: Via biliary route.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach. (Take before meals.)

A03AB06 - otilonium bromide ; Belongs to the class of synthetic anticholinergics, quaternary ammonium compounds. Used in the treatment of functional bowel disorders.
