Hydrotalcite

Indications	Oral Dyspepsia *Adult:* As suspension containing 500 mg/5 ml: 10 ml to be taken between meals and at bedtime. *Child:* 6-12 yr: As suspension containing 500 mg/5 ml: 5 ml to be taken between meals and at bedtime.
Warnings / Precautions	Pregnancy.
Adverse Reactions	Diarrhoea and vomiting.
Drug Interactions	May interfere with absorption of tetracyclines. See Below for More hydrotalcite Drug Interactions
Mechanism of Actions	Hydrotalcite is an antacid that is used in the treatment of dyspepsia.
Administration	Should be taken on an empty stomach. (Take between meals & at bedtime.)
Storage Conditions	Oral: Store between 4-25°C.
ATC Classification	A02AD04 - hydrotalcite ; Belongs to the class of combinations and complexes of aluminium, calcium and magnesium-containing antacids.
