 Ophthalmic
Dry eye
Adult: Usual concentrations: 0.2 or 0.3% in artificial tear preparations.
Mechanism of Actions
 Carbomers are used topically as tear substitutes in the management of dry eye. They are also used in manufacturing of pharmaceuticals as suspending agents, emulsifiers or binding agents.
