Etravirine: May decrease the serum concentration of Macrolide Antibiotics. Clarithromycin AUC is reduced and levels of the active metabolite (14-hydroxy-clarithromycin) are modestly increased. |
Management |
For the treatment of complex, consider changing to alternative agent, such as azithromycin. |
