Temsirolimus: Rifamycin Derivatives may decrease the serum concentration of Temsirolimus. Rifamycins will likely cause an even greater decrease in the concentration of the active metabolite sirolimus. |
Management |
Temsirolimus prescribing information recommends against coadministration with strong CYP3A4 inducers such as rifampin; however, if concurrent therapy is necessary, an increase in temsirolimus adult dose to 50 mg/week should be considered. |
