Contraceptives (Estrogens): May decrease the serum concentration of LamoTRIgine. |
Management |
Monitor for increased serum concentrations/effects of lamotrigine in patients in whom a hormonal contraceptive is discontinued/dose decreased (this includes during a pill-free week). A reduced dosage of lamotrigine may be needed. |
