Amifostine: Antihypertensives may enhance the hypotensive effect of Amifostine. |
Management |
When amifostine is used at chemotherapy doses, antihypertensive medications should be withheld for 24 hours prior to amifostine administration. If antihypertensive therapy can not be withheld, amifostine should not be administered. |
