Indications
Topical/Cutaneous
Oral hygiene, Acne, Skin disinfection, Disinfection of hands and wounds
Adult: Available in concentrations up to 2% in soaps, creams, and solutions.
Adverse Reactions
Contact dermatitis.
Mechanism of Actions
Triclosan, a chlorinated bisphenol antiseptic, is active against fungi, gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
