DOPamine: Inhalational Anesthetics may enhance the arrhythmogenic effect of DOPamine. |
Management |
Avoid use of dopamine in patients receiving halogenated hydrocarbon anesthetics. If concomitant treatment cannot be avoided, monitor for arrhythmia. Dopamine induced ventricular arrhythmia may be reversible with propranolol based on animal data. |
