Indications |
Topical/Cutaneous Mild to moderate plaque psoriasis Adult: Apply 0.005% cream/ointment once or twice daily. Max: 100 g/wk. Child: Apply 0.005% cream/ointment 2 times daily. Max: >12 yr: 75 g/wk; 6-12 yr: 50 g/week. Max Dosage: Topical/Cutaneous Scalp psoriasis Adult: 0.005% soln once or twice daily. Max: 60 mL per wk. |

Not to be applied on the face; pregnancy and lactation. |
Adverse Reactions |
Skin irritation, erythema, scaling; hypercalcemia w/ high doses. |
Mechanism of Actions |
Calcipotriol is a derivative of vitamin D3. It has the property of inducing differentiation and suppression of keratinocytes. |
