Indications
Oral
Mucolytic
Adult: 8-16 mg tid.
Warnings / Precautions
History of peptic ulceration; asthmatic patients. Severe hepatic or renal impairment.
Adverse Reactions
GI side effects; headache, dizziness, sweating, skin rashes. Inhalation: Cough or bronchospasm.
Lab Interactions
Transient rise in serum aminotransferase values.
Mechanism of Actions
Bromhexine is a mucolytic.
Administration
Should be taken with food.

Oral: Store below 30°C.
